About
Hi, my name is Matteo. I’m a DevSecOps engineer and Cloud Architect with a solid software engineering background and a love for cybersecurity.
I started out writing software, and over time I drifted towards the place where code meets infrastructure and security. These days I design cloud architectures, build CI/CD pipelines, automate whatever is worth automating, and try to get security in early instead of tacking it on at the end. I’m a certified Google Cloud Architect, and right now I’m studying for the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) exam.
I love Linux and free software ♥, so much that I run Luccalug, my local Linux User Group. I’m a tinkerer too. I have a hard time leaving a system alone without taking it apart to see how it works, and usually putting it back together a bit better than I found it.
Away from the keyboard I like dogs, weightlifting, cooking, and good coffee, though rarely all at once. I don’t stray far from keyboards either. I have a soft spot for ergonomic ones and enjoy building them myself.
This blog is my digital garden: a place where I write down what I’m thinking about and learning. Some posts are polished, others are half-finished ideas I wanted to get out of my head. Thanks for stopping by, and feel free to reach out through the links on the home page.
